Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, the authors analyze the throughput in multi-hop networks with node skipping by simulation. Radio waves fluctuate by fading. The node skipping method uses this fluctuation. So a source node tries to communicate with not only the adjacent node but also the node following the adjacent node. In this paper, we show that the node skipping method is effective when the number of relay nodes increases, we also investigate characteristics of constructed routes in AODV. By using these characteristics, we analyze the throughput considering route shapes. As a result, we show that the throughput in multi-hop networks with node skipping is better than that without it.
