Abstract(in English) Cellular network will fall into a crisis because of the mobile traffic explosion and proliferation of smart devices. In order to defeat this situation, 5G cellular networks which utilize the ultra wide band millimeter wave smallcell BSs has been investigated. Moreover, spectral efficiency can be improved by introducing MU-MIMO in the smallcell BSs. This paper proposes the novel cell association method for multiband heterogeneous cellular networks which considers traffic demands of users and user selection for MU-MIMO.
