Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) There are many differences in language classifications depending on linguists. As a new approach to investigate the language divergence, molecular phylogeny-based methods for the language classification were employed to produce language-family tree. In this paper, we propose a method to create character state data for producing language-family tree by applying a character state method based on basic vocabulary. Furthermore, the comparison to language-family tree obtained by a distance matrix method is conducted to confirm the availability of our method.
