Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The Steady-State Visual Evoked Potential (SSVEP) is useful as a basis for Brain-computer interface (BCI). The liquid crystal display (LCD) monitor based visual stimuli expands the versatility of BCI. However, a flickering frequency of visual stimulus is limited due to the refresh rate of LCD. The conventional research modulates two different frequency to evoke the SSVEP which is difficult to represent the LCD. However, some modulated visual stimuli yields the SSVEP which is not related to the fundamental and second harmonic frequency of visual stimulus. In this paper, we show the relationship between the modulated visual stimulus and SSVEP response.
