Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We proposed the phase modulation patterns optimization method of the optical switches based on a Liquid Crystal On Silicon (LCOS) by using the Computer generated hologram, which enables low crosstalk. Thereby modeling adjacent pixel interference in the LCOS, the proposed method can suppress the crosstalk to very low level of about -30 dB. Moreover, the experimental results of a multicast function, which splits a same wavelength signal into multiple ports, in a 1x8 wavelength selective switch show that proposed method realized very low crosstalk.
