Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is getting popular development of pluggable optical module, supporting 80km C-band DWDM transmission. It has been found that there is heavy signal degradation when C-band DWDM transmission is performed on DSF (G.653), due to a severe non-linear fiber optics effect where neighboring the signal wavelengths and zero-dispersion wavelength. We proposed an optimal amplifier arrangement considering a suppression of non-linear fiber optics effect, achieves over 100km DWDM transmission for metropolitan transport networks.
