Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, many researchers are engaging in Elastic Optical Path Network for increasing traffic demand. In elastic optical path network, Routing and Spectrum Assignment (RSA) problem is one of essential issues in network level. Therefore, we have proposed spectrum assignment method, called Soft Reservation, that can decrease the number of spectrum slots utilized as guard band and save the required number of transmitters. In addition, a dynamic control method to determine the range of Soft Reservation according to the regularly estimated traffic intensity has been also proposed. In this paper, we evaluate the performance of the proposed method by computer simulations in dynamic traffic change situation and verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
