Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | SDN achieves the desired manageability and flexibility of the network through its centralizing architectural design, which, on the other hand, has a considerable disadvantage in its reliability. For improving the reliability by protecting control logic under large-scale, unexpected link failures, we propose ResilientFlow that deploys distributed modules called Control Channel Maintenance Module (CCMM) for every switch and controllers. Our CCMMs enable switches to maintain their own control channels, which forms the fundamental part of SDN. In this paper, we design, implement ResilientFlow and show some preliminary evaluations. |
