Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Layer 7 Load-Balancer for session management protocol must distribute requesting messages to particular destination to keep their sessions. Therefore, Round-Robin like load balancing is not adequate in this situation. Rule-based is a kind of solution for session management protocol. It's reasonable for simple request and flexible for any message with regular expression mechanisms. However, it might be extremely complex for operator if various patterns of request. In this case, operator must define several patters of complex rule and maintain them consistently to follow fluctuation of traffic of patterns for load balancing. We have studied a method to overcome these problems with simple Naive Bayes Classifier and feedback mechanism to upgrade training set periodically. One of the major requirements for load balancer is throughput, so we have studied filtering incoming messages for faster classification with proper degree of accuracy. We also have studied valid feedback mechanism. In this paper, we show our experimental result of simulation.
