| Abstract(in English) | Using SDN, network services can be managed by a centralized controller and their setting can be dynamically modified. However, updating cannot be executed at the same time. Thus, dynamic modification causes an asynchronous state in which switches having newer information and older information exist simultaneously. This asynchronous state may result in packet losses. For discussing this issue, an integrated analysis which covers switchers in a network is required. In this paper, we focus on SDN using OpenFlow and propose an integrated analyzing method. For observing behaviors of OpenFlow switches, monitoring functions are introduced to OpenFlow switches implementations. The proposed method gathers monitored events and analyzes them comprehensively. We applied the method for an OpenFlow network and observed events during dynamic modification. Our experiments demonstrate that the method can highlight the cause of packet losses. |
