Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Because of the spread of mobile devices and their use of wireless LANs, the amount of access point (AP). In a typical wireless LAN environment, users share one channel space, which can become problematic when too many users stream data. In this study, we propose an efficient packet transmission scheme that deduplicates the multiple packets containing the same payload. In this scheme, an AP monitors packets transmitted to stations (STAs), determining whether these packets contain the same payload. When the AP detects the same payload, the AP groups the STAs and multicasts packets to the STAs of the group. In addition, we design protocol between AP and STAs and evaluate our scheme via simulation.
