Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently event-driven sensor networks for detecting such events as radiation leak, fire disaster etc, have attracted great attentions. For these networks, event boundary detecting methods have been proposed, where sensor nodes at the boundary of the event area only send sensor data for reducing the traffic by transferred sensor data. However, in this method, since all nodes detecting the event exchange their statuses, the number of status messages are significantly increased, which causes unnecessary the power consumptions of nodes. In this paper, we propose a novel method to drastically reduce the number of status messages by the method that only nods around the boundary exchange these messages.
