Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, peer-to-peer (P2P) video streaming services (P2PTV) have attracted much attention as video streaming traffic increases. P2PTV distributes the processing load of servers by sharing the video data among users. However, it is difficult for Internet service providers (ISPs) to deduce P2PTV traffic due to the distribution of peers around the world. Thus, P2PTV traffic analysis is getting an important challenge for ISPs. In this paper, we analyze P2PTV traffic flow considering users' behavior on several P2PTV applications. Moreover, we reveal the relationship between traffic flows and the variation in the number of new arrival peers.
