Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is difficult to show frontal face in video chatting or mirror apps since there is a gap between display and camera. We propose a method for face reorientation by creating a 2.5D face model from a single RGB-D camera and rotating it. Our method uses two kinds face models complementarily: one is a point cloud based model and the other is a generic face model fitted to the user. We conducted subjective evaluation by 18 people and confirmed the validity of our proposed system.
