Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Automatic video surveillance systems have recently become an active area of research. Typical methods of research can be divided into two categories: approaches that provide model data for irregular behavior, and approaches that detect rare behavior. However, since these methods use specific features to each environment, the behavior patterns must be relearned when the number of surveillance cameras is increased or their position is changed a little. In this paper, we propose a novel method using approaches that detect rare behavior. First, we extract behavior patterns from a surveillance camera video. Second, we learn those by classifying them. Finally, when a new movement observed, we identify whether it is "normal" or "irregular" by referring it to the defined clusters. Since our method uses common features in some environments, the existing problem of relearning is resolved. |
