Improvement of PNG Image Compression by Optimizing Filter Selection

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose an optimal filter selection to improve PNG (Portable Network Graphics) compression. This method optimizes filter selection by using color space transformation, l_0norm minimization, and Continuity maximization. Experimental results have shown that this method reduces code amount more than conventional method losslessly.
