Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This presentation aims to reveal what conditions increase the satisfaction level of augmentative & alternative communication (AAC) tools. We sent questionnaires about AAC tools to ALS patients and got the data with the help of Japan Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Association. Using Fuzzy-Set Qualitative Comparative Analysis, we revealed that ALS patients get high satisfaction level (1) when they receive much support and they actively output information, (2) when they are relatively younger and they actively output information although they do not actively input information, or (3) when they are relatively older and they actively input information although they do not receive much support.
