Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a non-verbal expression method for life-log texts of cared people. The environmental situations are recorded as onomatopoeic texts in order to preserve their privacy. The ambient context of the user can be detected by accelerometer, gyro sensor, and microphone in her/his smart device. As a non-verbal expression, we propose an soft-monitoring system using both onomatopoeic log texts and symbolic sound expressions, that is called "soundgram." We have investigated the impression of the elderly's monitoring and the proposed system by a questionnaire sheet for the elderly and middle-aged people from the viewpoint of the recipient and provider of the cares.
