Abstract(in English) | In this paper, a view interpolation method, which is a combination of the Plane Sweeping (PS) method and the Iterative Reconstruction method, using multiple images captured with a camera placed a each vertex of a square and facing into their depth directions. By conducting the multi-resolution decomposition for every picture, creating a free viewpoint image at every resolution level and integrating these pictures, we create intended a free viewpoint image. In that case, we use properly different techniques: at the resolution level of high frequency component, we utilize the PS technique with depth estimation, whilst at the level of low frequency component, we make use of Reconstruction method method without depth estimation. |
