Abstract(in English) | Triangular GaN microdisk arrays were fabricated by an electron-beam lithography and an inductively coupled plasma reactive ion etching technique. The side length and height of the triangular GaN microdisks were approximately 1.5 μm to 4.4 μm and 1.2 μm, respectively. The microdisks were arranged with triangular lattice. The stimulated emission was obtained from the microdisk arrays. Triangular microdisk is the most simplest structure which acts as the whispering gallery (WGM) mode resonant system, and we demonstrated the stimulated emissions which probably based on the WGM in the triangular GaN microdisk. |
