Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The motion blurring reduction and various gray scale display method in the hold-type display were compared using the visual image created by a computer simulation. As a result, a pulse width modulation method is large effct of motion blurring reduction in low gradation region. For high gradation region, dual speed display method is large effect to the reduction, however it is necessary frame interpolation technique. The triangular pulse width modulation with a triangular wave in the display period is effective to motion blurring reduction in low gradation region and the edge of image with easy to percived the motion blur.
