Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have been developing robust HTS-SQUID magnetometers that can be operated stably in unshielded environments for practical SQUID-NDE. In this work, we designed and fabricated a meshed-structured HTS-SQUID magnetometer, which was covered by the same mesh-structured alternative HTS film in flip-chip configuration as a superconducting film shield. The magnetometer was mounted in a compact cryostat, which was integrated with a robot arm of an SQUID-NDE system that we have developed. Noise performance of the SQUID, which was moved by the robot-arm while utilizing an active magnetic shielding scheme, was measured in an unshielded environment. Using a first-order low-pass filter (LPF) in the active magnetic shielding, the magnetometer was stably operated while the SQUID was moved at 20 mm/s. Finally, detection of deep-lying defects on far surface of an aluminum plate sample was demonstrated and experimental results clarified the superior ability of the magnetometer to detect deep-lying defect to the HTS-SQUID gradiometer.
