Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Future millimeter-wave band communication and a further high-frequency band wireless communications, has low power consumption and simplification is required of a communication system. To simplify the system, a configuration of the direct phase modulation of the VCO is considered. In this case, it is possible to make the configuration of the Out-Phasing also can handle complex signal generation, such as the amplitude control even necessary QAM, further it is possible to achieve high power efficiency and signal linearity with nonlinear amplifiers. The CMOS VCO is required to the function of multiplying frequency and direct Phase Modulation. This paper presents the study of CMOS VCO for the Out-Phasing Modulation in high frequency band such as millimeter-wave band as reporting the design and study of cross-coupled push-push oscillator and tripled injection locking ring oscillator.
