Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We study on Optical Transport SDN by which users can use optical paths immediately when they order a bandwidth. In order to make the on-demand service available, OCh (Optical Channel) paths must be configured and pooled in advance. We propose a dynamic method for resource pooling of OCh paths. Our method adds or deletes OCh paths according to a fluctuation of traffic demands. The simulation results show that our dynamic method can achieve higher utilization of OCh paths and lower blocking rate than a previous static method. In addition, we show that using cut-through OCh paths accomplishes lower delay.
