Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Various L7 traffic are analyzedfor IDS, network forensic or any other purposes. However, there are problems regarding scalability and flexibility to deal with a large amount of traffic and various L7 protocols. In this paper, we propose SF-TAP, which is a scalable and flexible traffic analysis platform using commodity hardware. SF-TAP separates network flows as L7 protocol level, abstracts flows by UNIX domain socket, and provides modularity for analyzers for core scaling. Furthermore, SF-TAP has a traffic separator, which separates network flows as IP addresses and port numbers for high bandwidth traffic.
