Abstract(in English) | With the rapid spreading of broadband Internet access and smartphone, various communication services have increased. To ensure that communication services meet the high expectations of end users, user quality of experience (QoE) must be properly considered. Therefore, performance of network, terminals and applications should be managed based on quantified QoE. The technologies which quantify QoE are QoE assessment methods. These methods have subjective quality assessment methods and objective quality assessment methods. The subjective quality assessment methods are technologies which evaluate QoE for communication services by a psychological experiment. The objective quality assessment methods are technologies to estimate QoE which is evaluated by the subjective assessment methods. In this paper, the QoE assessment methods for voice and video communication services are explained. |
