Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Bi-directional wireless relaying has been demonstrated to raise transmission throughput intensively as large as twice in throughput by applying physical layer network coding (PNC) when a pair of terminals exchange information via relay. With the aim to enhance the performance of relay system based on decode-and-amplify (DF) strategy, we propose a power control (PC) structure applied in Tomlinson-Harashima precoding (THP) used PNC scheme. The PC structure can be realized by adding a simple filter, aiming to control the transmission power without increasing bit error rate (BER). It is proved that the proposed PC structure can significantly reduce both transmission power and BER of bi-directional MIMO relay system, showing better performance than THP used PNC without PC structure.
