Multiple Spectrum Synthesis and 2-D DOA Estimation Using Higher-Order Statistics

Abstract(in English) This paper presents a novel Direction-Of-Arrival (DOA) estimation method based on the synthesis of multiple MUSIC spectrums. Conventional MUSIC, 2q-MUSIC and NR-2q-MUSIC methods well estimate DOAs but they do not work well in some particular cases. The proposed method compensates such situation based on the synthesis of multiple MUSIC spectrums and performs better DOA estimation. Performance of the proposed method is evaluated through computer simulation.
