Performance Evaluation of Routing Control Scheme with Traffic Load Balance and QoS Based on OLSR and AODV for Wi-Fi Mesh Networks

Abstract(in English) In this paper, the routing methods based on OLSR and AODV for Wi-Fi mesh network systems considering the traffic load balancing and QoS are proposed, and the transmission performances with these routing methods are evaluated. Computer simulations are carried out for evaluating the proposed routing methods with traffic load balancing and QoS, and the results show that the routing based on OLSR and AODV with traffic load balancing for real time traffics can effectively improve the throughput performances in the case that the amount of traffic load is more than 33 % of the link speed. Moreover, the results show that the routing for non-real time traffics should not have the traffic load balancing and AODV based routing have a disadvantage of the delay-time performance because of the route discovery time as compared with the OLSR and AODV based routings.
