Abstract(in English) In order to correspond to the further broadbandization of the mobile service spreading drastically in recent years, we develop λ-tunable WDM/TDM-PON System. The configuration of λ-tunable WDM/TDM-PON System, which is the technology enabling to assign the bandwidth for the communication traffic over 40 Gbps efficiently, is required the high split ratio specification to accommodate many subscribers. In addition that, the long reach specification is necessary to realize office convergence enables to reduce the operation cost. Therefore we develop the higher power budget transceiver rather than the common device and PON linkup technology dedicated for high split ratio. In this paper, we report the improvement of the power budget of WDM/TDM-PON transceiver utilizing burst type preamp and booster EDFA and the transmission result using equalizer to suppress the impact caused by the chromatic dispersion. And then, we indicate the ONU emulator employing the wavelength independent discovery method.
