Abstract(in English) An optical packet and circuit integrated (OPCI) network has been proposed. Optical data packets and data on lightpaths are transmitted on common physical resources to provide data communication diversity, high capacity, energy efficiency. In this paper, we experimentally demonstrate the 80-km reach 10G-EPON system with two-stage repeater amplifiers using uncooled LD pumped EDFAs and SOAs with an assist light to compensate the waveform distortion. And we experimentally demonstrate the End-to-End OPCI network using the long-reach 10G-EPON system. This is the first time to connect a commercially available 10G-EPON equipment to an OPCI network.
