Abstract(in English) In this paper, an indoor propagation characteristics prediction method for evaluation of frequency sharing systems in TV White Spaces is presented. Indoor measurements are carried out using seven licensed "spot" frequencies from 470 MHz to 775 MHz, which covers all of the TV band in ITU Region 1 and most of the TV bands in other ITU regions. A propagation model is derived according to the measurement results. The proposed model has terms of free-space path loss, additional distance loss, wall penetration loss, floor penetration loss, and constant loss. Further, this model can evaluate a difference of penetration loss caused by a difference of incident angle for a wall. The proposed model and existing models, such as COST231 and ITU-R Rec. P.1238 models, are compared with measurement results and it is shown that the proposed model achieves a 1.2 dB improvement in standard deviation of estimation error.
