Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Massive MIMO realizes the improvement on reliability and transmission speed of wireless communication by using very large number of elements at the base station. However, there are a lot of problems to realize massive MIMO due to implementation from tens to hundreds of antenna elements. In this report, we focus on antenna arrangement and clarify the effective antenna arrangement for 16 elements array antenna as a basic study to practical usage on massive MIMO. In addition, we assume to apply analog-digital hybrid circuit considering a practical hardware. By the computer simulation, we show the effective antenna arrangement when the positions and direction of arrivals of multiple users are changed. The influence on the angular spread and fading, which is assumed to be the actual propagation environment, is discussed.
