Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Air traffic sectors capacity is not far from saturation, due to the increasing number of aircrafts. A solution is to restructure these sectors. Another one consists of helping the controller to handle more aircrafts at a time. The main feature of this second solution is Trajectory Prediction (TP). Thanks to TP, conflicts (and non-conflicts) can be computed and reported to the controller. But this technology can only be used if it proves itself accurate enough. Nowadays, most of the TPs use weather forecasts to integrate wind in their model, which possess uncertainties. The idea was to develop software which can compute local wind from information transmitted by the aircraft (transmitted via SSR Mode S), which could be used for TP instead of wind forecast.
