Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As a future air traffic operational concept, trajectory-based operation with optimized and coordinated flight paths including time component is expected to enhance safety and airspace capacity. To realize the trajectory-based operation, prediction and mitigation of influence due to meteorological disturbances are important factors. In this study, I focus on a sudden and localized severe storm as meteorological disturbance and investigate its impacts on air traffic flow near congested airports in Tokyo area.
