Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A wide area observation of sporadic E by HF-UHF integration radio observation system is being conducted in the University of Electro-Communications (UEC) and Japan Coast Guard Academy (JCGA). It's being observed by VOR (108MHz-118MHz) and AIS (162MHz) by a long-distance propagation observation of a VHF, and a case of long-distance propagation of 1000km-2000km is reported. On the other hand, Electronic Navigation Research Institute (ENRI) has been conducting research and development about Ground-Based Augmentation System (GBAS) which is a landing system using the GPS. VHF Data Broadcast (VDB) is used to transmit information to an airplane in GBAS. A use frequency band is the same as VOR and ILS-LOC (108MHz-118MHz). There was a case as which influence to GBAS-VDB is regarded in a VOR long-distance propagation observation. The result which considered influence to a GBAS system of VOR long-distance propagation is described in this paper.
