Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to experimentally evaluate the position estimation of the catheter by using the unbalanced fed ultra low profile inverted L antennas, the RSSI of the receiver antenna is measured by using the ZigBee system. The operating frequency is from 2.4 GHz to 2.48 GHz. The RSSI is measured in the case of distance between transmitting and receiving antennas is from 40 mm (0.32 wavelength) to 100cm (8 wavelength). In the near field region up to 0.72 wavelength, the measured results are compared with the simulation results of two unbalanced fed ultra low profile inverted L antennas. In the far field region, the measured results are compared with the far field approximation.
