Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper describes a method that generates an equivalent circuit of a three-terminal capacitor for its broadband frequency response. The proposed method first converts S-parameters of the component into Z- or Y-parameters, then approximates the Z- or Y-parameter to a rational function form using vector fitting, and finally synthesizes an equivalent circuit. The equivalent circuit model is realized by controlled sources, without using physical geometry of the original capacitor component. Application examples of the proposed method for two and three-terminal capacitors are presented, showing good match between the original S-parameter response and the generated model over 100 kHz to 6 GHz.
