Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this research, a directional method for bow-tie antenna is proposed. First, for suppressing sidelobes, opening angles of the elements are optimized to shift its higher order resonance frequency to out of the target band. Next, the arrangement angle of the elements was optimized to obtain directionality and slits were loaded to suppress the sidelobes in higher frequency. The designed antenna was fabricated and the reflection coefficient less than -4 dB and F/S ratio of 8.5 dB was measured between 300 and 870 MHz. The validity of the directional method for bow-tie antenna was confirmed.
