Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) On September 27, Mt. Ontakesan erupted. The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and The National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) carried out the emergency observations by using their airborne synthetic aperture radars (Pi-SAR-L2 and Pi-SAR-X2) on September 30 and October 2, respectively. These airborne synthetic aperture radars have a function of polarimetric observation. At these observations, Pi-SAR-L2 and Pi-SAR-X2 obtained the polarimetric synthetic aperture radar data. In this report, the results of polarimetric analysis are introduced.
