Abstract(in English) | In order to control the self-oscillation mode of the loop-tube type thermoacoustic systems, the method of installing a structure called Phase Adjuster (PA) in the tube are proposed. However, the transfer matrix model based on one-dimensional and linearized equations used for the design of thermoacoustic system has problems that cannot be precisely predict the acoustic power dissipation in the PA, especially for large amplitude oscillation. In this study, we examined soundfields before and after the PA by measuring sound pressures for several PA installation positions in the forced standing wave soundfield. Analyzing the distribution of the sound field around PA, it was confirmed that the sound power dissipation around the PA depends on the particle velocity amplitude around the PA. |
