Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the multichannel environment, the channel selection rule is necessary for exploiting the vacant channel. The average usage efficiency of each channel, channel occupancy rate (COR), is useful to find the vacant channel but the measurement of COR needs a lot of time. We proposed the learning assisted measurement of COR. In the proposed technique, the roughly COR of each channel is obtained during learning time and then the more time is assigned to measure the channel of the expected small COR. As a result, the channel of small COR is specified with high speed. In this paper, we evaluate the effect of learning assisted COR measurement in the indoor Wireless LAN environment by using the universal software radio peripheral (USRP).
