Abstract(in English) | We have proposed a QoE-oriented WLAN which employs channel access control for providing enough quality to as many applications with high priority as possible. In the proposed WLAN, "loadable capacity" is predicted within which all applications can satisfy their quality of experience requirements. In the prediction, interference from other uncontrollable networks is considered. This paper proposes a transmission bandwidth control scheme for multi-rate application which varies its offered load according to its throughput in order to avoid using excess radio resources to satisfy its QoE requirement. The efficiency of the proposed transmission bandwidth control is evaluated through computer simulation. |
