Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this presentation, we propose the extended L^1-optimal control, which is defined by a weighted sum of L^1 norms, that generates discrete-valued control signals. Discrete-valued control signals are available in networked control systems to solve the problem of quantization. Assuming that the controlled plant is linear time-invariant, we derive a sufficient condition for the extended L^1-optimal control problem to generate discrete-value control signals. We also propose a time-discretization method to reduce the control problem into finite-dimensional linear programming, which can be numerically solved for a large-scale problem.
