Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, efficient use of wireless access resources becomes more and more important because of the growth of demands for wireless communication. Besides, wide variety of wireless network makes it difficult to select adequate access to get good performance. In order to acheive it, we have proposed the wireless network selection scheme based on attractor selection algorithm considering the effect of packet aggregation, where we have taken into account only 802.11 networks. In this paper we propose autonomous and adaptive network selection scheme for heterogeneous network environment considering the characteristics of each network, for example, quality, of connecting network, wireless network characteristics such as coverage or bandwidth, etc.. Through simulation experiments, we show that our proposal works well from the perspective of the stability of wireless access when the network environment has changed.
