Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Almost all of mobile sensing applications aim at constructing statistical data such as urban congestion levels by analyzing data collected from many mobile devices. The sensor data is related to the user and his/her activities, and so protecting user privacy is an important problem. We focus on a privacy-preserving method called Negative Surveys (NS), and two expansion methods of NS (MDNS, H-MDNS). Application developers need to select one from three methods and decide the value of each parameter properly, while considering applications' requirements. Therefore, we propose a practical function which assists application developers' decisions.
