Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Various events are held in order to keep regular customers. For planning an effective event, conventional methods quantify the influence of holding the event on the duration of use. However, they have not considered the opportune time of the event. We present a novel method that estimates the effective time of the event to keep regular customers. Our method extracts the relation between the length of the pre-event period from the beginning of the use to the event time and that of the after-event period from the event time to the end of the use. Furthermore, it infers the best time to hold the event for maximizing the number of the regular customers at a time. We confirmed through evaluations using the user log of a health service that our method was effective in planning an event.
