Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, high-speed LTE communication encourages wide usage of interactive applications using push communication. For the push communication in LTE, a paging procedure is needed to search for the location of the mobile terminal and to notify data arrival. In this paging procedure, Mobility Management Entity (MME) in the mobile core network sends control signaling to wide range of base stations corresponding to the movement of mobile terminals. As the number of signaling increases, the load of the MME increases and may cause deterioration of communication quality. This paper proposes a method that controls the paging area by estimating the movement condition of mobile terminals. In comparison with the previous method, we show the efficiency of the proposed method by simulation.
