Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Many metrics to measure the quality and productivity of software have been proposed. In this paper, we propose a new metric for evaluating software quality from the viewpoint of uses of natural language in program codes, which strongly relate to the design models, concepts, and implement techniques that the programmer employed. In order to address the problem, we investigated what kind of word usage relate the quality of program codes. As a result of the investigation, we confirmed that occurrence of certain word pairs can be useful to measure the quality of program codes. This findings will contribute to improvement of automatic analysis and quality evaluation of software
