Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Since recent advantage of developing semantic role labeling and annotated corpora in English, construction of an NLP application system utilizing more deeper semantic structure of texts can be studied. In contrast with this, we constructed a predicate-argument thesaurus for Japanese adjectives, adjectival verbs and verbs. The thesaurus contains example sentences annotated with frame and semantic roles. In this context, we propose a rule-based system of automatically annotating with semantic role labels and frames according to the predicate thesaurus. The system has also the functions of idiom recognition as well as voice recognition. We are planning that this system will be downloadable from a web site.
